I was lucky enough to grow up on the Isle of Islay, a beautiful island off the West Coast of Scotland. Although I now live in Lanarkshire I make sure I go home to Islay at least once every six weeks. I renovated my family's home in 2002 and now run it as a luxury 4-star Self-catering accommodation. Please visit my site in the links page - we'd love to have you come and holiday on Islay.

It is therefore no suprise that most of my photography features Islay. Its beautiful landscapes and seascapes are unforgettable and no two sunsets are ever the same on Islay.

I currently use a Digital SLR - a Canon 1Ds Mark II which is fantastic. However, although I love the immediacy and convenience of digital photography I do not believe in doctoring or altering my images (apart from occasionally cropping a picture to size). So what you see is what you get - real colours in sunsets and skies...

I hope you will enjoy looking at my photographs and see why I love the place so much.
